WHAT WE DO
My approach is predominantly documentary in style with a touch of fine art thrown in for good measure.
What I promise is energy and someone who will spend the whole day with you, and I mean the whole day. I love the in between moments and leaving you to enjoy your day. Those candid shots when you and your guests have forgotten that the photographer is there and bang an amazing moment happens that otherwise would have been missed by a directive and pushy photography style.
I use natural light almost entirely. The available light drives a lot my creative decisions and as a result I tend not to stick to a rigid plan. I want my couples to be themselves and I want the photos I make for them to reflect who they are, their personalities and the environment they have chosen to get married in.

I knew James through a mutual contact and from the moment I called him and told him what we wanted, I knew he was the man for the job. He was very accommodating and gave us lots of different options to choose from. He ensured to have a back up plan for the big day (weather depending). On the day itself when the pressure of the day was on he was a very calming influence on both me and Tarlane and was there first thing in the morning to start Tarlane’s photos while getting ready. The photos we received really exceeded our expectations, they were professional, creative and they captured the whole story of our big day. James is an absolute gent to deal with and we will definitely use his services again in the future.
